The opening ceremony of the 2020 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference was held at the Nanjing International Expo Convention Center on the morning of November 26. The Conference themed by "Intelligent Manufacturing Leads High Quality Development" focuses on fostering a new development paradigm with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other and promoting the high-level development of industrial bases and the modernization of industry chains, so as to help China grow into a country with strong strength in manufacturing, the Internet, and quality. 

Unlike the previous sessions, this Conference is to be rolled out mainly with online activities due to the pandemic. Five exhibition areas including a cloud-based exhibition platform, AI, and digital economy provide participants with various technologies and products that integrate intelligence and manufacturing, presenting the new experience and the charm of "intelligent manufacturing" at close range. The Conference will also focus on the latest developments and cutting-edge technologies in global intelligent manufacturing to carry out thematic forums, carnivals, and other activities. 

At the Opening Ceremony, the Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance of CAST Member Societies (IMAC) and China Intelligent Manufacturing System Integrator Consortium (CIMSIC) jointly released the 2020 World 10 Scientific and Technological Developments in Intelligent Manufacturing and China 10 Scientific and Technological Developments in Intelligent Manufacturing. The 2020 China Intelligent Manufacturing Benchmarking Enterprises will display solutions to the digital, internet-based, and intelligent development of manufacturing and application examples in a multi-dimensional way.
