Centering on "comprehensive progress and industrial prospects", "key technologies and innovation", "technology demonstration and industrial application" and "social ecology and industrial cooperation", 14 sub-forums were organized, where a large number of industry leaders and experts and scholars exchanged views on the latest intelligent manufacturing technology, intelligent manufacturing solutions, industrial upgrading and integration, talent training, and other topics. The forum "Digitization of Equipment — the cornerstone of the healthy development of the digital economy" built a communication and exchange platform of equipment digitization for top experts and industrial elites from China and abroad. The participants have proposed numerous new concepts, new ideas, new thoughts, new scenarios, and new cases. These have consolidated the strength and pooled resources for formulating a new value system of equipment, led the development, and positively promoted the in-depth integration of the digital economy and real economy. In the "Communication Forum of S&T Progress in Intelligent Manufacturing", the awarded projects of "World & China 10 S&T Developments of Intelligent Manufacturing 2021" and "China 10 Scientific and Technological Developments in Intelligent Manufacturing 2021" were released one after another. These projects focus on the dimensions of intelligent manufacturing technology and equipment, intelligentization workshop/factory, and intelligent manufacturing foundation, standard and new model. They have continuously followed the cutting-edge technology and the development and application trends of intelligent manufacturing, as well as conducted research and analysis on the practical cases of intelligent manufacturing promotion in different industries and enterprises.
The "Cloud Expo" held in the opening ceremony has created an intelligent manufacturing exhibition that "never rings down the curtain". The Expo intensively presented a great number of eco-system factors, such as new technologies, new models, new equipment, talent and finance, in three major exhibition areas of the intelligent manufacturing application demonstration, technology and service, and industrial ecology. Meanwhile, features including cloud live streaming, cloud recruitment, and cloud conference have come into service, which forms a significant platform of cooperation and information sharing for enterprises to develop intelligent manufacturing. By the Conference, there have been more than 4,400 outstanding exhibitors of the intelligent manufacturing field participating in the Cloud Expo.
